Quite purposefully these places are not located or named. 

The pieces are to be their own map reference in order for memories to be recalled of car journeys, walks or playtimes. 

I have had adventures and revelations on my journeys, and I endeavour to transfer and convey enough memories to re-kindle yours as the viewer. 

Nature is always playing Hide and Seek with patterns of trees and sky, and with positives and negatives.  If we were willing to lose our direction, would we be able to experience the wonders and excitements of our wilder areas with all our senses? Could there be hope for visions and dreams?

The forest paintings of Klimt and of Australian artist, Fred Williams, have been inspirational to me.  I have enjoyed losing myself whilst drawing within my woods, which remain places of discovery and not of fears.
